Discover the main historical park and hidden gems of Ayutthaya by bicycle. Our experienced guide uses local back roads to avoid traffic, ensuring a safe and enjoyable twilight ride.
After fitting your bike, we visit the massive reclining Buddha at Wat Lokayasutha. Following a historical briefing, we ride to Wat Chaiwatthanaram. Constructed in 1630 by King Prasat Thong in Khmer style as a memorial for his mother, its name means the "Temple of long reign and glorious era."
We continue through Wat Phutthaisawan, an immense and renowned royal monastery built by King U-Thong where his royal pavilion once stood before Ayutthaya’s founding. From there, we ride to the pier and board a ferry across the Chao Phraya River.
On the other side, we cycle to the Bang Ian Night Market. We park our bicycles and walk through this bustling market filled with food and clothing vendors. Enjoy some appetizers and get a glimpse of local nightlife.
Once the sun sets, we cross to Wat Mahathat, a royal monastery beautifully illuminated at night. We continue our spectacular evening ride past the glowing ruins of Wat Ratchaburana and Wat Phra Ram, stopping for breathtaking photos.
For dinner, we stop at a local restaurant where your guide will order delicious Thai dishes. Afterward, we cycle back to our starting point, concluding this amazing sunset adventure.
