Full Day Cycling Ayutthaya Historical Park Highlights 5-6 Hours 2,100 Bath

All admissions fees are included in the tour (Guaranteed Departures)

We discover the main historical park and the hidden gems of Ayutthaya by bicycle along local back roads. Guided by an experienced local, we avoid heavy traffic for a safer and more enjoyable ride.

After a simple bike fitting, we visit the largest reclining Buddha at Wat Lokayasutha. Following a historical briefing, we ride to Wat Phu Khao Thong (Golden Mount). This towering white chedi features a unique hybrid structure, begun by the Burmese in 1569 and completed by Thai kings. It rises about 50 metres and offers the best panoramic views in Ayutthaya.

We then continue to Wat Na Phra Men, a 15th-century temple that remained standing despite the wars, showing the true architecture of the era.

We continue on the back roads through the local community, passing ancient temples until we arrive at Wat Mae Nang Pluem, an active temple restored over centuries. We cycle through the lively Hua Ro Market, observing residents shopping for daily necessities, before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant.

Next is Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha head entwined in roots. We then explore the former Royal Palace area near Wat Phra Si Sanphet before concluding our tour. The pace is relaxed with plenty of time for photos and questions.
